History
The First Japanese Baptist Church began in 1920
as the “Seisho Gakuen” (Bible Institute) at 5th & P streets. There
were seven adults and three children. In January 1922, we became the First
Japanese Baptist Church. After four years in a temporary facility, our
church moved to its current location in 1962.
